About the artist
and the scribble art
Fredrik Worren is my name, but for some I'm better known as "Krusedulll" on social media. The nick name "Krusedulll" is based off the Norwegian word for "scribble". I'm living with my family in a small town in Norway called Horten. I love portrait drawing and has stayed commited to "a face a day" for a long time. Almost every night I scribble down a portrait in my small sketchbook or on bigger paper, I also makes timelapse videoes of the drawings which I post on social media. I enjoy making the videoes as much as the drawings, it's all about being creative and making people smile(or cry).

My preferred method of drawing is freehand drawing, which means I do not depend on instruments, or use grids or tracing when I draw. I draw direct on paper from observation. Usually I only use ballpointpen or markers to draw with, no pencils or erasers are involved in this process, not even for the outline. This gives the portraits a unique realistic look, even though not being a 100% "copy" from the reference image.
I love the scribble style above all else. It's something about the symbiotic combination of chaos and order, perfection and imperfection and the loose and thight, free but controlled way of drawing portraits. It's almost like magic how the layer upon layer with scribbles can end up becoming this fantastic realistic portrait of a person.
